Empower Innovation Network Entrepreneur Futures Network (EFN) is seeking a full time Engagement Manager to manage programs and client relationships. Start date of approximately June 1, 2021.
While we prefer that the person who joins us for this opportunity be located in California, we are open to candidates located elsewhere in the U.S.
We are seeking a self-motivated, independent /outgoing and action-oriented individual interested in doing impactful work in entrepreneurship and innovation and who likes working in a well-organized and energetic team environment.
The manager’s focus will be planning executing projects where researchers, startups, and larger organizations work to improve outcomes, particularly in the sustainability, energy and climate fields.
The candidate who joins our team will benefit by expanding her/his professional connections globally, learn about new and emerging markets and technology fields, build management and marketing and communications skills, get experience with relevant tools and systems including Salesforce, network analysis, database and email marketing.
Position Description
The individual hired for this position will lead and support the following activities to engage people, customers and partners in our work:
- Project planning
- Event planning, marketing and execution
- Organizing and managing advising, mentoring and ecosystem development projects and programs.
- Project tracking and measurement.
The person in this role will also support marketing and communications activities to acquire and serve new users, members, partners, customers and sponsors for our owned or affiliated programs including:
- Entrepreneur Futures Network including our membership, training and advising programs.
- Empower Innovation Network (EIN)
- Leading approximately five events annually for EFN and Empower Innovation.
- Marketing approximately 10 EFN webinars per year
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Highly organized with a natural attention to detail
- Strong listening, oral, written and presentation skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, complete activities and meet deadlines
- Ability to travel periodically
- 4-year college degree or equivalent business experience
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM is preferred
