EFN has partnered with Duke University for five years to provide expert judges and mentors. The mentoring is ad hoc. If you are judging a team and want to offer mentoring please state your interest in the judging comments/form.
We recommend that you ask the student/faculty or alumni competitor to email Tom Jensen at tjensen@enterprisefutures.org and EFN will add the the person(s) to our mentoring platform whereby the person can reach out to you, schedule time and hold an audio or video call. Or they may contact you and you can give EFN their name and email address.
For this year, we expect about 100 student and 20-30 alumni teams to compete. Judging this competition allows you to contribute to a great learning experience for current Duke students (who are eligible for the cash prizes). In addition, Duke alumni, faculty and staff can also participate (separate, smaller cash prize), and your feedback and support is very helpful to them.
There are three rounds in the competition. Virtual judging is done for rounds 1 and 2. The third round is judged by a handful of judges present for the Grand Finale in September.
